As for women from the younger generation I tried to do portraits that would show their fertility. But I am not talking about a biological fertility, I’m taking about a spiritual fertility, creative fertility. For that reason the women on my portraits are crowned or surrounded by flowers, by nature as a symbol of fertility. The women you see are my friends, they are full of life and ideas, they are very intuitive and sensitive women, and they don’t care about doing shopping, waxing, fashion, etc. They try to live their lives going as wise as they can, trying to get their ideas out, speaking out. They are natural and spiritual women, they fight against their own demons and the demons of the society. I think that Argentinian women between 40 to 60 years are very strong, they are full of energy because they work in all different spheres of society; they are excellent housewives, they care so much about their children and grandchildren. I think Argentinian women are very sentimental with their children as well as with their husbands or lovers. In the portraits I’ve made I simply wanted to show the everyday lives in their houses.

У своїх портретах я намагалася показати фертильність жінок молодшого покоління. Але йдеться не про біологічну, а духовну, творчу фертильність. Тому мої героїні на портретах увінчані або оточені квітами чи природнім простором, які символізують плодючість. Жінки на знімках – це мої подруги. Вони дуже глибокі і чуттєві особистості, повні життя та ідей, і їм начхати на шоппінг, депіляцію, моду тощо. Вони намагаються жити мудро, наскільки можуть, і роблять все, аби їх почули. Усі вони прості та кмітливі жінки, борються зі своїми власними і суспільними демонами. Вважаю, що аргентинські жінки віком від 40 до 60 років дуже сильні. Вони сповнені енергії, оскільки працюють у всіх сферах суспільства, прекрасні домогосподарки, піклуються про своїх дітей та онуків. На мою думку, аргентинки однаково ніжні і зі своїми дітьми, і зі своїми чоловіками чи коханцями. Я прагнула змалювати їх у звичайних домашніх ситуаціях.
